How to use:

Find an object you are interested in on the map (search bar is draggable from top by a blue knob).
Choose “Line” or “Area” tool in the toolbar.
Tap along the outline of the object you are interested in.
“Measure Your Land” will show the corresponding distance or area.

Application features:

● Search by zip code or address.
● Send the measure results via email (which can be edited on another device or can be viewed by online service http://ribaba.com/kml).
● A wide array of possible measure systems: International, American, Imperial, Chinese and others, more then 10 for now.
● Additional “Landmark” tool allows to mark objects of interest on the map.
● “Sum” tool allows to summarize measures.
● The application considers Earth’s surface curvature, relying on international WGS-84 standard.

Notes:

You can get this app from the AppStore for free with all functionality available. The only limitation is that you cant draw more than three figures on one map and save more than three measurements in apps list. To expand these limits please upgrade to MYL Standard or MYL Pro version via In-App Purchase.

Loading satellite maps requires the application to have an Internet connection.

Measure Your Land app good for

Its great to pre-measure your run or see how many acres a piece of land is.

Works really well, easy-to-use. The resolution on the satellite view is far better than Google. Maps are up-to-date And clear even here in Canada. I cant believe an app this good is free.

This app worked perfectly to my needs! Loved it. And so easy to use! The only thing is the clouds appear on the map so that blocks it a bit, but overall this was very useful to me! ;)

Can really measure EXACTLY your land. never see something like this before. Absolutely must have app. Works close to google earth.

Some bad moments

No ability to search for an address? Whats the point? Measure the land around me? Tell me this isnt so.

Great app, I find the square area measurement tools to be efficient and convenient.

Very useful when uses with zillow to get an idea of lot layout.

Its great for Measuring acres around the farms. Its quick and easy and helps us to apply chemicals.

Excellent tool for measuring walks, rowing distance, runs, crawls, climbs, swims, whatever! Good job! My favorite thing on line since www.RandyLee.info ! And THAT is saying something!!

Because this app uses satellite photos you can only reduce so far before the picture pixilates rendering it not usable for small areas.
